S. Jae Ali, EdM

To let her tell it, she’s a wordsmith and an acrobat. Peek at her resumes... you can't help but agree. As a former international educator, Jae earned her BSED in Early Childhood Education and her first EdM in Educational Policy, Organization, and Leadership as well as four (4) different yoga certifications before heading classrooms in Charlotte, NC; Zhengzhou, China; her hometown of Chicago, IL, and; Porto Alegre, Brazil. After an emergency evacuation from her home in China at the height of COVID, Jae took time in stillness and silence to reflect and re-evaluate her definitions of success, happiness, and fulfillment. Shortly after, she traded in her textbooks and lesson plans for yoga mats, journals, microphones and stages. Thus, S. Jae Ali Speaks and The Wellness Workshops were born.

Jae has shared her stories and lessons with diverse audiences of all ages and walks of life. Whether she is educating high school students, relating to middle-aged moms, or empathizing with a more seasoned audience, her message remains clear and unchanging. When she’s not guiding audiences toward embracing their inner badass or adjusting their crowns through her public speaking and workshops, she’s somewhere cleared for takeoff - whether it's as a certified AIR trainer or with her passport && carry-ons in hand. She is a thrice-self-published author and poet with several projects in the works. In addition, she has created the Black Excellence Journal Collection for Black men, women, boys, and girls, as Ms. Ali is a vivacious advocate for the liberties && liberation of Black Americans. She is also a member of the prestigious Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Ms. Ali has graced the stage and blessed the mic for the likes of fashion industry mogul brand Lacoste, was unanimously selected as the health and wellness expert for the international W.E.A.L.T.H. Experience hosted by MC Lyte and Dr. Lynn Richardson, and was recently featured and highlighted by Essence for her aerial yoga skills. You can find Jae on the beaches of Los Angeles, cheering for her beloved Chicago Bears during football season, and cuddling on the couch with a good book and her fur baby--a spoiled Yorkie named Khloé.
