Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Erionia L. Dixon, MS, LPC is a Wisconsin based therapist and educator dedicated to helping people heal while they achieve, grow, and navigate complex worlds. Her work centers whole-person wellness, cultural identity, and the belief that healing is not the opposite of achievement but the foundation that makes it sustainable.

In her role as a School-Centered Mental Health Therapist & Supervisor with Lutheran Social Services, Erionia partners with schools to create supportive environments where students and families can thrive. She integrates trauma-informed care, family engagement, and strengths-based practices to reduce barriers and cultivate wellness in learning spaces.

Erionia owns Growth Support Services, LLC, a private practice, geared towards serving and empowering Black women, people, and children. As a Clinical Mental Health Consultant she brings over a decade of experience in crisis response, targeted case management, behavioral health planning, and therapeutic support. Her leadership path reflects a commitment to compassionate systems-building and community care.

As an Adjunct Instructor at Alverno College, she teaches with a healing-centered pedagogy, inviting students to explore identity, emotional well-being, and the ethics of care in professional practice. Her teaching mirrors her signature approach: reflective, culturally grounded, and designed to help learners grow without sacrificing themselves.

Inspired by her doctoral research on Black women’s wellness, Erionia advocates for accessible mental health support, collective healing, and spaces where people can honor both their lived realities and their aspirations. She frequently speaks on self-care, microaggressions, mental health conditions, relational wellness, and the power of community.

She is a board member at the Bloom Center for Art and Integrated Therapies and chairs the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Employee Engagement Subcommittee at LSS. Erionia is pursuing her PhD in Educational Leadership, continuing her mission to help individuals, families, and communities heal while they achieve.
